Undertaking the SMC Phu My project with a total area of 9.7 hectares and an investment of up to 1,000 billion VND. This promises to become Vietnam's largest steel production center with a design capacity of 300,000 tons of steel and 10 million products annually.
SMC exported 159,889 tons in 2021, accounting for 12.4% of the total steel consumption of the entire group. Their primary export markets include Southeast Asia, Europe, the USA, with products such as HRC, CRC, galvanized steel, secondary steel.
2. List of Activities of SMC

3. Scale and Production Technology of SMC
SMC's coil center system has a processing capacity of up to 500,000 tons/year, equipped with infrastructure, machinery and production lines imported from Korea, Taiwan, China following European technology. Scientific management methods comply with ISO 9001:2000 standards, specializing in precision steel sheet cutting services. The colored zinc-plating steel sheet mills at SMC Steel Mechanical, with a production chain from HRC bleaching, cold rolling to zinc galvanizing, have a design capacity of 350,000 tons/year.
All SMC's processing and manufacturing plants are located in designated heavy industrial areas, ensuring no impact on human life and nature.
Regarding energy consumption, SMC has imported advanced, high-capacity production lines based on European technology and regularly maintains them to ensure efficient operations. The entire group operates on automatic control technology with a transmission engine functioning on inverter technology, not only optimizing energy consumption but also ensuring efficient production and the best quality products for customers.
